Manufacturing Capabilities

Manufacturing facility at iBuild is developed to demonstrate and serve the paradigm-shift that we intend to bring in construction process. The entire production process is carried out in a completely enclosed factory and uses advanced and innovative technologies in concrete mixing, distribution and production of precast components. The key components of the system include computerized concrete distributors, numerically controlled production machines and a fully automatic distribution centre.

Batching Plant:- A fully automated, computer controlled batching plant for concrete mixing gives a precise control over grade and volume of concrete produced. Located just outside the factory shade and manned by a dedicated, specialized operator, the plant can produce various grades of concrete as per precast applications.

Concrete Trolley System:- The trolley system controlled through a control panel with the operator carries the concrete from the batching plant to the slip-former. The system offers complete flexibility with quick access across the factory area and hollow core precast beds.

Prestress and Reinforced:-During the production of floor slabs in reinforced concrete, steel bars are incorporated in the concrete. With floor slabs in prestressed concrete, the concrete is cast around already tensioned tendons. The result is a durable and a thin solution that can manage larger spans and offers more finishing possibilities.

Yard & Dispatch Area:- The factory has abundant area adjoining to the manufacturing capability to store large and small precast components. The yard is equipped with cranes and material handling equipment to efficiently sort, move and dispatch in Trailer trucks.

Curing Area:- The factory has abundant area adjoining to the manufacturing capability to store precast components of all sizes. The yard is equipped with cranes and material handling equipment to efficiently sort, move and dispatch the precast elements in Trailer trucks.

Precast Bed:- The Precast Bed is made of iron base supported by guides on the side. The guides Hold the slip former rolles and shape-up the hollow core slab. With the width of 1.2 mtrs, continious casting can be done over a length of 250 mtrs. on the bed.

Slip Former:- A one-man operated casting machine to manufacture hollow core slabs 120 cm wide and thickness from 6 cm up to 60 cm. The desired Hollow Core thickness varies by means of changing the tube and mould set changing which takes less than a hour. One of the biggest advantages of our Hollow Core slipformer is the low total cost-of-ownership and easy to use.
